The foundation of Swami Atulanand Rachna Parishad was laid by Late Dr. Raj Singh ji, a renowned educationist, former Reader & Head, Department of Chemistry in Udai Pratap Autonomous College, Varanasi, in the year 1979 to fulfill the desire beneath the brainwave of his spiritual guide Swami Atulanand Ji Maharaj. The society has its head office at Raj Rajeshwari Nagar, Gilat Bazar, Shivpur, Varanasi.

Under the guidance of worthy founder, the society started 3 units namely Sant Atulanand Convent School in 1980, Sant Atulanand Residential Academy in 2002 and Swami Atulanand Hindu Mahavidyalay in 2010. The society consists of members from education and social background and is a name in their respective fields.
